RFS at Critical Communications World 2013

Paris (France), May 13, 2013 — Radio Frequency Systems (RFS), the global wireless and broadcast infrastructure specialist, will showcase its newest innovations and latest additions to the most advanced portfolio of cables, antennas, and Radio Frequency (RF) components for in-tunnel and in-building wireless communications networks at “Critical Communications World 2013”, May 22-24 in Paris, France.

The RFS booth (Hall 4, Stand G311) will present the LTE-ready portfolio of lowest loss RF cables, radiating cables, antennas and RF components for in-tunnel and in-building distributive antenna systems (DAS). It will also showcase the best-in-class RADIAFLEX® radiating cables for in-tunnel and in-building TETRA and LTE wireless applications in UHF, which provide superior performance for GSM-Rail deployments. These cables feature RFS’ patented higher order mode suppression technique, which allows RFS to offer cables that support commercial and private radio services from 75 MHz to 2700 MHz.

The RFS display will include RF broadband products for mission-critical UHF, TETRA, GSM-Rail, signaling, and CCTV multi-band and infrastructure applications, as well as ISM/Wi-Fi and commercial 2G/3G/4G(LTE) networks. Rounding out the exhibit is the unique 5-6GHz ISM band radiating waveguide in-tunnel solution, which is engineered to minimize total cost of ownership and meet the highest data throughput demands.

Our booth will present all the elements needed to properly deploy an effective and efficient network that meets the communications needs of users by enabling the delivery of the most advanced applications and services, while allowing service providers to significantly lower deployment and total operating costs. Plus the RADIAFLEX radiating cables and CELLFLEX® low-loss feeder cables on display are available with an optional JFCL cable jacket that meets France’s stringent C1 fire-proofing specifications, as well as the requirements of three International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards for halogen-free and non-corrosive smoke emission, low smoke emission, flame and fire retardance.”

The RFS booth will also feature the innovative RADIAFLEX RE60 radiating waveguide, which is the leading edge solution for in-tunnel wireless applications in the 5-6 GHz band. This innovative cable provides superior system performance with the lowest insertion loss and low coupling loss.

Critical Communications World 2013 will take place at the Paris Nord-Villepinte in Paris, France, May 22-24.
