Latest innovations at IBC2014 in Amsterdam
Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) unveiled the latest additions to its world-renowned RF portfolio at IBC2014 Stand B28 in Hall 8, staged once again at the RAI, Amsterdam from the 12th to the 16th of September 2014.
Centerpiece of RFS’s exhibits was the improved series of PeakPower+™ filters and combiners for digital TV and a new filter for Digital Radio, DAB.
This range of filters and combiners was displayed with easy to use self-help computer aided tuning software called BCAT™. The latest generation of BCAT™ is faster, now covers many more filter models and includes full tuning aids for constant impedance (balanced) combiners. Interested broadcasters and infrastructure engineers were able to experience the tuning capability of this software on RFS UHF filters in the booth.
Additionally, RFS exhibited:
- A new range of aluminium rigid line and accessories.
- The low wind load UHF panel antenna designed to reduce weight on the tower structure and eliminate need for an outer radome.
- The low power STA2-LLP Super-turnstile antenna.
- A two channel UHF starpoint combiner.
IBC2014 provided the perfect opportunity for customers to talk with leading RFS experts. As a key supplier our message was talking about our successes in recent digital switch projects world-wide, where RFS has ensured a smooth transition into the digital era. Since RFS supports projects all around the globe the goal at IBC was to encourage customers to use RFS to make their projects a success too.
